supposed to be my day off yesterday. unfortunately, the ward sister called me back to work whilst i was happily shopping for my groceries early in the morning. don't know why, but when i woke up yesterday morning, i've got a strong feeling that this will happen. already had my whole day planned up ahead!
reluctantly, i went home and get ready for work. i prayed extremely hard that everything will go smoothly during my shift. well, my prayers was unheard.
first of all, my ward sister assigned me to be in charged of 8 patients. being in charge sucks. terribly. once i took over, everything happened at once. doctors came to do rounds, my patient had problem with the urinary tube(which caused him to have distended abdomen and it is not comfortable at all), then gotta assist a doctor to remove drains and staples, an ICU admission, gotta serve antibiotics and other medication, etc.. i mean one person can only do so much. right?
i hardly drink or ate anything! don't even have time for the toilet!!!!!!!! wanted to break down on the spot and scream my lungs out. i really hope that the time would just stop right there. man... it's really hectic. and the worst part is the report-writing. i did not have time to write or update any of the doctor's orders. i had to stay back and finish up all my stuff. i stayed back till 11.45pm. i had to make sure i've done everything. thank god there's still bus. reached home at 12ooam sharp. i'm exhausted. all drained out.
yea, i know i've got to be prepared for all this. who asked me to choose nursing right?
but i'm human too.

been so long!
geez. when was the last time I've blogged? so many things happened during these 2 months! first of all my comp crashed which is why i haven't been able to blog. so obviously it's fixed now! gotta bring it back to Msia to get it fixed. cus it's gonna cost me a bomb to fix it here in spore!
well i was glad to be able to go back to msia for Christmas! spent one week at home! at least i gotta meet up with my lovely cousies! and hang out with my sis! followed her to kl to collect all her clothes for her online boutique.
and once that short one week off finishes, I'm back to the dreadful lifestyle in spore! well i can say it's hectic though. so much to do, so little time.
so, i went to The Float at Marina Bay for the countdown event. well i had fun! went with Tiffie, Loi and girlfriend. it's beautiful. the city view is fantastic. it's kinda like the stadium-seats. so we sat kinda far up though. cus the seats below was packed with people. so it started off with someone performing. i forgot who. =p
it's actually really bored to be sitting up there man! there is a section where u can stand right in front of the stage. and i told Tiffie, "i have to get down there man". it's just so bored up there! so before Tiffie and i head down to the mosh pit, we went to grab some beers and headed back up to where we sat. then we made our way all the way down to the mosh pit after gulping down our beers cus Tiffie was starting to get sleepy after takin the beer.
we asked those crews over there about whether we can enter the mosh pit. and this guy said it's full and therefore we can't enter. I'm like wut the hell! i came all the way down here and u said it's full! i mean come'on! geez! we were about to give up when the host of the night announced that the mosh pit will still be able to fit in 20 more peeps! woohoo! excited, i made my way in!! and I'm finally standing right in front of the stage! and that means a lot more closer to the stars! ^^' had tons of fun cheering and dancing! but then i realized, everyone in the mosh pit has those glowing sticks in their hands except for Tiffie and i. we had to get one too! there's this young Malay couple but they've got 6 glow sticks in their hands! so i asked whether they can kinda give us two. and they did! weeee! then performance lasted till midnight where there's beautiful fireworks! and after the fireworks, we went for dancing at this incredibly huge dance floor just behind the stage. wooo! there, loads of fun! thank god i wore my extremely comfortable heels!
went clubbing on Saturday night. went with Aretha and Parveen. phew! great night too! ^^
started off with drinks. thought of loosen up a little. drank 2 glasses of vodka. no effect on me at all!! was expecting to feel all woozy though. geez. disappointed! then we head off for the dance floor. man, now that's where all those disgusting guys come in. oh well, guys are guys after all. just wanted to go there and hoped to dance off the stress at work! had loads of fun too! thanks Aretha for being able to hang out with us!! love ya girl! =p
now, gotta sign off though. enough of all those wonderful nights! gotta head back to work tmrw morning!
