been really exhausted these few days. imagine this. was on afternoon duty one day. then the next day i was on double shift, and the following day, i was on morning duty. i didn't even have the time to rest. and thank god, today is my off day. and the weather was lovely. feels so good!!
went out with my friend to the supermarket to get some groceries while it was still raining. so what happened was that while we were looking for food (i was famished!), my friend accidentally stepped on my slippers and it snapped! damn.. oh well, lost my mood for food, we just went to the supermarket, got all the stuff we needed and left. my hand still hurts from all the heavy stuff that we bought. still can't believe how both of us managed to carry all of it. thank god there's taxi to take us home!
well, we ordered pizza for dinner!! yummmeeee!! ordered my all time favorite. the BBQ chicken supreme. the chicken is just soooooo tender. yum yum! plus the cheese and the juiciest pineapple pieces! don't remember when was the last time i had pizza. think i had it in m'sia with family. missing them AND the food terribly. ^^'
oh, the main part is the ordering part. so i called up pizza hut delivery, and was talking to this operator. she's really funny. can u imagine placing an order over the phone for 20 minutes???
she asked my number for 5 times! and my name for 3 times. i was being really patient with her though. she kept apologizing for havin me to wait for so long. and in the end she told me, "please bear with me mam, I'm new here." i was like, yeah, sure. no problem. just make sure you get the right order." i really want my BBQ chicken supreme pizza. i can be really stubborn sometimes. ^^'
so yeah, after the deliciously yummy pizza, i had a terrible craving for glutinous rice ball! and so i made them! Hershey-shaped tang yuan! that's another one of my all time favorite though.
wow, you can say that i ate a lot. but it only happens once in a while. usually i don't really eat that much in one day though. not that i don't want to. i just didn't get to eat due to my workin hours. oh well, in a nutshell, i had a great day today!! ^^
how's work nowadays? it's been goin really good for the past few days. i wake up everyday, telling myself that it is gonna be a good day today. everything will be fine. and so it did! i hope it lasts. please do. i'm prayin hard for peace at work everyday!! (usually people pray for world peace). ^^
oh yeah! i've just watched this movie called 'love actually'. yeah, i'm a little bit outdated. it's a 2003 movie. it's really really good. well, the tag line that got me all crazy over this movie was "love is all around" and it's all about love.. actually". lovely movie. made my heart all cozy and warmed up. it made me laugh, it made me smile, it made me cry and the coolest part is it really made me felt like there is love everywhere. the soundtrack was just lovely. and the most beautiful part of the movie is that it is filmed in a Christmas season where it gets all snowy, and where everyone gets together. i do not know about others, but i love this movie.
