best working day so far.

well, it was Sunday after all. all clinics are closed. only a few doctors will be kind enough to make rounds to see their patient on a Sunday morning when they could spend their Sunday morning at home with their families and have a really nice breakfast together.(well, at least that is what i would love to do on a Sunday morning.)

started my day by seeing all my patients. made sure they are all cleaned up, had their breakfast, taken their medications and sitting up comfortably on their beds awaiting their doctors to visit them. there were a couple of discharges on my side. glad they could all go home. who would like to stay in a hospital anyway? when i took over, there were 8 patients. then 4 of them were being discharged. so I'm left with 4 patients!

there was this really adorable patient. like a grandfather to me. an Australian man. joyful. happy go lucky. and always smiling. well i was helping him with his breakfast, and when i look out the window, it's raining. i love it when it rains. the scenery right there was perfect! the trees and the rain. i don't know, they just go well together. ^^ how i wish i could open up the window and let in some cool breeze. at least that would make my patient feel really good. but unfortunately, the windows are all locked in case there are some patient who decided to umm.. you know.. haha!
oh well, i really did enjoy feeding him. we talked and joke around. plus the weather has been really great.

and another great thing was, the situation of the ward is peaceful i can say. we can joke around and laugh softly. we were able to communicate with each other. everyone was helpful. we had our jokes and laughter. this is the kind of environment i would love to work in. because most of the time, we are all minding our own business, working like a robot, everyone hardly talk to each other unless it's regarding the patient and each and everyone are kinda stressed up with work. everyone gets easily agitated. then there are many black faces around. the whole environment feels tensed don't you feel? i know i won't come across a day like today very frequently. but i did enjoy working today. i actually felt happy working here for the first time.
